Nurse Practitioner - Methadone

The 16-20 hour per week Clinical Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the senior Medical Director of an active methadone treatment in the University City section of Philadelphia near Penn's campus.  

In collaboration, this key position is responsible for clinical assessment, observation, and referrals, and med management for an adult substance abuse patient population - some of whom may have co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses. Our Client regards the Nurse Practitioner as an integral part of the treatment process. The position offers an excellent compensation package and a congenial work atmosphere.

Requirements

PA licensed Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner plus prior experience as a Psych Nurse. DEA authorization to prescribe in the Pennsylvania. Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
